This speaker is a MASTERPIECE IN PROGRESS! Yet to see him, he looks like anything BUT a masterpiece. He was born August 18, 1951 with what most folks would call "handicaps." He had no arms, badly deformed legs and a doctor's prediction that he would not survive, He grew up mostly in hospitals and homes for the handicapped, including Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children in Philadelphia, PA, where he underwent orthopedic surgery, learned to walk with a brace and was fitted with his first prosthetic arm. At age nine, he was placed into The Good Shepherd Home for the Physically Handicapped in Allentown, PA until he was 19.

"I'm a Masterpiece In Progress - And you need to know it! My disabilities are my assets, NOT liabilities." He is a speaker / singer, humorist (comedian) and author with a very special message; A real handicap is "…anything that keeps me from being or becoming all that I was created to be!" It is a most unique message for an entertainer, that each person in the audience is a "Masterpiece In Progress!"

For 43 years, he has traveled more than four million miles globally, letting people know that they, too, are wonderfully created with potential they never dreamed possible. He has been privileged to perform for a variety of audiences, including corporate events for companies that include State Farm Insurance, CANAR (Consortia of Administrators for Native American Rehabilitation), Amway, State Farm Insurance, Wachters Organic Sea Products, Piccadilly Cafeterias and more.

He has performed on TV Variety Shows & telethons. He was Co-Host for an entertaining and original informative Television Special, called "The Best You Can Be...The Handicapped Hall of Fame." along with disability rights advocate, Mary Nemec Doremus; "The Variety Club Telethon" with Host Monte Hall, both in the U.S. and CANADA. Jeff has performed with such names as Barbara Mandrell, Zig Ziglar, John Goodman, Tony Orlando, Jim Nabors, Ray Charles and the list goes on. However, a true highlight of his career was a memorable appearance on stage and sang for Mother Teresa of Calcutta during her 1989 U.S. visit.

He has enjoyed speaking to High Schools and Universities (including Notre Dame University), hospitals, U.S Military troops in Germany and churches.

In 1987, he was inducted into The Good Shepherd Hall of Fame For People with Disabilities for achievements in the field of music, for advocacy on behalf of the physically challenged, and for carrying the message that everyone is a Masterpiece in Progress.

He has recorded more than 10 music, CD & DVD projects. His autobiography, now in the fifth printing, is published and distributed worldwide.

He has done voice-over advertising for commercials, demos, radio and television, and just recently narrated his autobiography for AudioBooks online by Amazon.
